Time-Lapse Watercolor Painting - "Axiom of Evil"
I decided to do a timelapse of this painting after I had already started working on it for a couple hours. At first, I was taking images on timed intervals, then I decided to take each shot manually. I set it up to take a picture each time I hit the spacebar. So, my hand appears to swoosh around the right side of the frame because I'm quickly tapping the keyboard off screen. I used Dr. Ph. Martin's radiant watercolor for the brilliant colors. This is the 3rd painting that I've created by first sketching an outline of the composition in pencil before painting. Normally, I paint as I go - from blank canvas to finished painting - but the technique of drawing it out helps me to focus on the final product when I'm capturing frames for a time-lapse animation. The music is in the clip is Spoon - You Got Yr. Cherry Bomb.
