No matter which day you die, it'll be today.
Starting last Friday, June the 12th through the first friday of July, I will be showing a number of acrylic and watercolor paintings at the Rubbish Gallery in Colorado Springs. They are open Fridays from 5pm-10pm, give or take. Lots of good info at their website. Orange doors. 2 paintings were sold at the opening, and if you go, you can buy the rest. You can also purchase by phone if you know the title of the piece you want. 719-440-5638.
After around 2 years of using primarily watercolor as my medium of choice, I've started painting in acrylics again. The transition started this mid-summer but hadn't yielded results until now. I have a 3'x3' piece detailed piece in the works and continue to work on the large digital piece that is now around 3 years in the making. They'll both be done when they're done. Thats the way I paint. In the mean time, I've started another series of smaller acrylics to sell and show. This series will be featured and available for sale at Nocturnal Mockery 8 in Colorado Springs Nov. 14-16
